DAY 1: The Beginning

Today was the first day of the journey and it was an eventful one! The revolution crew started their journey in NJ and walked 14 miles in the torrential rain that hit the east coast this memorial day weekend. They had the opportunity to cross the Delaware River on a pedestrian bridge, into the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. The walk was tough with few sidewalks but the scenic views and public support along the way made it worth it, especially in Bucks County, PA (which is surprisingly a very red district).
